"I stumbled into this wonderful local spot walking to my hotel and needed a WiFi to get to my room. I wasn't even planning on eating, but when I saw all the locals were lining up to choose dishes from the many offerings behind the display case, I decided to have lunch there. Boy was I glad I did! I had the rigatoni with a perfect coating of porky, tomatoey goodness. I also had a sausage with potatoes and mushrooms with spinach. I ate every single bite to the last forkful. It is accidental discoveries like that when I travel that make fill me with Joy. I love this place."

"Best meal we had in Rome! The lamb chops are delicious, the beef tartare was insanely good, the raviolino came with a generous amount of black truffle, and the porchetta comes with delicious crispy skin. Highly recommend. Domenico was a great server who paid close attention to us throughout the meal. Thank you for the great meal. 40-50 euros per person, but we took food home and got a bottle of wine. After looking at some of the previous reviews, it is clear that they have upgraded their service. Maybe sitting inside helped. Really great all around. The table next to us also mentioned that the food was amazing, and they also raved about the tiramisu."

"Hey Foodlovers, this is a must go place in Rome. You can find good cacio e pepe in most places but an excellent you can find here. The amounts of pecorino cheese, salt and pepper were balanced perfectly. The carbonara another paradise in food's heaven. Maybe the water for the pasta was a bit salty, however the guanciale top quality. As starters we had polpette di baccala (codfish), amazing, delicious, tasty another must eat . Polpo with fava cream. Also delicious. But wait for the dessert. It is one of the hardest things to find in Rome, a good and well balanced of the ingredients for a top tiramisu. But they managed, the balance of panna, sugar, mascarpone incredible, you can not tell how much taste explosions you have on your tongue . Have I told you about the focaccia they offer to welcome the guests, go there and eat you will not regret. It's rare that I recommend a place such this, but I still have the taste in my mouth while writing the review on the next day."

"Keep in mind of the 10 euros per person of service. We were not aware. Now, the food was great! Very enjoyable night with classic dishes"

"This evening we went to a restaurant outside the center of Rome, very nice staff, the food was really tasty, not European but true to Italian cuisine. The only thing to complain about is that I didn't get a new wine glass between the white and red wine…. Grazie mille e grazie al cuoco in cucina"

"This place is awesome! We're a young couple, and we had lunch there. The next day, we went back for dinner. The food is delicious, and the staff is super charming. A big plus (at least for me): nice atmosphere, good music. I think for lunch, we were the only tourists there, and then, for dinner the next night, I believe there were only a few, and the rest were locals, which says a lot indeed! It definitely won't be our last time in Rome (we loved the city and the people), so next time we're totally going back to Bottega Trattoria de Santis, especially for that carbonara."
